Limited Warranty

INSTALLED IN OWNER-OCCUPIED SINGLE FAMILY HOMES
Who is Covered Under this Warranty?
This Non-Transferable Limited Warranty applies only to the Neuma Patio Door System installed in original owner-occupied single-family detached homes within the United States. What is Covered Under this Warranty and What is the Period of Coverage?

1.Door frames: Lifetime, for original purchaser as long as purchaser owns home.
2.Mullions: Lifetime, for original purchaser as long as purchaser owns home.
3.Astragals: Lifetime, for original purchaser as long as purchaser owns home.
4.Transom frames: Lifetime, for original purchaser as long as purchaser owns home.
5.Door panels: Lifetime, for original purchaser as long as purchaser owns home.

 

INSTALLED IN RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL APPLICATIONS

Who is Covered Under this Warranty?

This Non-Transferable Limited Warranty applies only to the Neuma Patio Door System installed in (1)residential applications other than original owner-occupied single-family detached homes, and (2)commercial applications within the United States.

What is Covered Under this Warranty and What is the Period of Coverage?
1.Door frames:10 years from date of installation by certified installer.
2.Mullions:10 years from date of installation by certified installer.
3.Astragals:10 years from date of installation by certified installer.
4.Transom frames:10 years from date of installation by certified installer.
5.Door panels:10 years from date of installation by certified installer.

 

 

INSTALLED IN OWNER-OCCUPIED SINGLE FAMILY HOMES

Insulated Glass,non-impact and impact:

Neuma Doors offer two types of insulated glass with their patio door units: non-impact (i.e.) with a 20 year limited warranty and an impact unit with a 10 year limited warranty. Neuma Doors warrants that the insulated glass shall be free from any failure or material obstruction of vision due to a failure of the glass seal for the warranty period.
A failed unit is one that shows significant amounts of obstruction due to moisture created by a seal failure. Small marks, scratches, and spots which do not exceed company standards or federal government specifications, C 1036-85 do not make insulated glass units defective. Insulated Glass w/Mini-Blinds:
These units have a five year (5) warranty against seal failure; components (magnets) one year;
parts will be shipped to distributors / Client.
One-year replacement, labor warranty on failed insulated units only. All other parts will be shipped no labor included. See glass warranty chart for other charges.

 

 

LIMITED PRO-RATED WARRANTY FOR GLASS COMPONENTS

INSTALLED IN RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL APPLICATIONS

Insulated Glass, and Insulated Glass w/Mini-Blinds have a five year (5) pro-rated warranty against failure, and one-year warranty on labor. See glass warranty chart for other charges What is Not Covered Under this Warranty?
Generally, Nan Ya Plastics Corp.USA,d/b/a Neuma Doors does not cover normal wear and tear, or damages resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect or improper maintenance, and alterations or damage caused by others.

 

The following are also not covered under this Warranty and are hereby disclaimed:

•Maintenance of caulking.
•Failure or damage of product due to negligence, or improper use.
•Damage from improperly mulled units by others.
•Failure or damage from improper installations, modifications, adjustments or corrections by others.
•Damage by freight carriers, common carriers, private transportation, or any other transportation, handling upon arrival to destination.
•Metal hardware and mechanisms on installations within five (5) miles of a body of salt water.
•Damage from acts of God, and or any event or actions beyond the control of Nan Ya Plastics Corp. USA, d/b/a Neuma Doors.
•Doors repaired or removed and reinstalled at another location.
•Damage from fire, and corrosive fumes.
•Damage from water infiltration other than from defect in manufacturing, materials, or workmanship.
•General wear and tear, including wear and tear of weather-stripping and hardware.
•Damage from improper maintenance such as acid brick wash, sealants, sanding or improper washing.
•Factory prefinishing and by paint or prefinishing by others.
•Glass components and hardware.
•Applicable taxes and freight.
•All labor after the first year of warranty.
•Removal and disposal of defective product.
